you have not been forgotten nor have you been hated on
you were special to me yet i was unhappy
but those special moments will always be remembered
so hear me out when i say "please don't give up on life"
for life has so much more to offer other than love
i am not your happiness and you are not mine
but you are my friend and i will always be yours
now is not the right time to see that
i have not done anything to spite you in the past
i respected you & our relationship
i was broken and torn into pieces
but i found someone who mended to that pain
you, too, will find that someone
if not now, sometime in the near future
you will learn from those mistakes
to better youself
you will be happy
even though it feels like you won't
